After US President-elect Donald Trump announced the new 'Department of Government Efficiency' (DOGE) led by Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk, Ramaswamy posted on X, "We will not go gently, Elon Musk." Reacting to DOGE, Musk said, "People have no idea how much this will move the needle!" Trump said the newly-formed department would "slash excess regulations" and "cut wasteful expenditures".
