We made a mistake: Ex-reporter of The Wire on BJP-Meta reports

The Wire's ex-reporter Devesh Kumar admitted on Wednesday that the news portal was at fault regarding its reports that accused Facebook's parent company Meta of according special privileges to BJP IT Cell. "We made a mistake in reporting...A lot of documents we received...were false," Kumar said. This comes after The Wire accused Kumar of providing forged documents for the reports.
