We prefer to advance Make in India: MEA on Rafale deal with France

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri addressed a question on India's Rafale deal with France and said, "India's perspective in the defence sector is to increasingly advance the 'Make in India' concept." "We aim to move towards co-development, co-design, co-production, and co-manufacturing. Therefore, maximising production, design, and manufacturing within India...remains our preference," he added.
