Akshay Kumar opined that many things in children's history books need to be corrected. "We read about Akbar or Aurangzeb but do not read about our own heroes. They need to be mentioned," he added. Akshay further said stories about the army and Param Vir Chakra awardees should be brought in books and taught to "our generation".
