Speaking during a Senate hearing on Tuesday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the US remains the "world's sole global superpower". "The US is the most powerful country on Earth. We have the largest economy and the most formidable military ever known to man," he stated. Rubio added that the US dollar remains the reserve currency of the world.
