Author and educator Sudha Murty revealed she and her husband, Infosys Founder Narayana Murthy, spent ₹800 on their wedding in 1978. "He paid ₹400 and I paid ₹400," she added. She further said that they wanted their wedding to take place in a "simple way", adding, "My father was very upset. He wanted it to be a grand wedding."
