We've destroyed 44 mine-laying Iranian vessels so far: US

General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the US had destroyed 44 Iranian mine-laying vessels to deter threats in the Strait of Hormuz. He said, "We continue to hunt and kill afloat assets, including more than 120 vessels and 44 mine layers." He added that A-10 Warthogs and Apache helicopters deployed to destroy Iranian vessels.
