We've had no such bilateral talks yet: India on Trump's call to deploy warships in Hormuz

India has clarified that it's not currently engaged in any bilateral discussions with US about joining a coalition to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz. MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "We've had no such bilateral discussion yet." The statement comes after US President Donald Trump urged several countries to send warships to region to keep the strategically vital waterway open.
