We welcome every step that leads towards peace: MEA on Israel-Lebanon ceasefire

India welcomed the 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon that took effect at midnight on Thursday. "We welcome the ceasefire. We welcome every step that leads towards peace," MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said. Speaking on Israel's urging to designate Hamas as a terror group, he added, "We have a process in place, and those issues are addressed under that process."
