We were not consulted: Asian Football Confederation on FIFA's plan to sell WC stake

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) said it was "not consulted on the proposal" after FIFA announced plans to sell World Cup stake to private investors. Expressing disappointment, AFC added stakeholders must get enough information and time to assess proposal fully. "Such a process is essential to ensuring that any decision reflects collective interests of global football community," it noted.
