Wealth of India's super-rich falls $594 bn in 2020 due to rupee fall: Report

The overall wealth of India's super-rich dipped by 4.4% or $594 billion to $12.83 trillion in 2020 due to the rupee's fall, according to a report by Credit Suisse Research Institute. Meanwhile, the number of dollar millionaires in India fell to 6.98 lakh from 7.64 lakh in 2019, the report said. India is home to 1% of the global rich.
