Wealth worth ₹6.30 lakh crore wiped off in 6 hours as Sensex ends 1,000 points lower

Investors lost nearly ₹6.30 lakh crore in just six hours of trading on Monday, as both the Sensex and Nifty closed the day bleeding. Sensex ended over 1,000 points lower at 80,238.85 after dipping by nearly 2,800 points to hit a day's low of 78,543.73. Meanwhile, Nifty also ended over 310 points lower to dip below 25,000.
