Weight-loss drugs are set to get cheaper in India as several pharma companies are preparing to launch affordable versions of weight-loss drugs Wegovy and Ozempic. This comes as patent for semaglutide, which is the key ingredient in the injectable medications, is going to expire on March 20. This clears path for pharma companies to enter the market from March 21.
