Weightlifter Bindyarani Devi wins bronze at CWG 2026, bags India's 6th medal

Indian weightlifter Bindyarani Devi Sorokhaibam won bronze in women's 58 kg at CWG 2026 on Monday. The 27-year-old lifted a combined 199 kg, with 87 kg in snatch and 112 kg in clean and jerk. Nigeria's Rafiatu Folashade Lawal took gold with 229 kg, while Canada's Ann Sophie Taschereau claimed silver with 215 kg. It's Bindyarani's second straight CWG medal.
