Weightlifter Rishikanta clinches silver by lifting 264 kg, wins India's 2nd medal at CWG 2026

Weightlifter Chanambam Rishikanta Singh won silver medal in the men's 60kg event at Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026 in Glasgow on Sunday with a total lift of 264 kg. The Manipur lifter, competing at his first CWG, set a Games record of 121 kg in snatch before lifting 143 kg in clean and jerk. It's India's second medal at CWG 2026.
