Wells Fargo to shut Chennai office, asks staff to relocate: Report

US' Wells Fargo is shutting its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Chennai and has asked employees to move to its Bengaluru or Hyderabad centre, Moneycontrol reported. "This move aligns with our enterprise location strategy...[providing] more robust career growth opportunities," Uday Odedra, head of the company's India operations, said. This change will be done in a phased manner over the years.
