We're far from being partners: Russia on ties with Japan

Russia and Japan are still "far from being partners in international relations", Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said. His statement came amid the talks between the two countries to end the dispute over the Kuril Islands near Japan which was seized by the Soviet forces at the end of World War II.
