West Asia war could wipe out $200 billion worth of economic growth across the region: UN
The US-Israel-Iran war could wipe out economic growth worth $200 billion across the Middle East, a new UN study found. The war could also cause the region's unemployment rate to jump by four percentage points, costing some 3.6 million jobs and pushing four million into poverty. Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Levant countries could lose over 5.2% of their GDP.
