West Bengal COVID-19 cases rise to 5,772, death toll climbs to 253

West Bengal has recorded 271 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases there to 5,772, said the state's Department of Health and Family Welfare on Monday. The state now has 3,141 active coronavirus cases. Bengal's coronavirus death toll climbed to 253 with eight more dying of the virus in the last 24 hours.
