West Bengal govt transfers 28 IPS & 5 state police officers

The West Bengal government on Tuesday transferred 28 IPS officers and five West Bengal Police Service (WBPS) officers. As per the notification, NR Babu was appointed DG (CID), while K Jayaraman IPS has been posted as director of Directorate of Economic Offences. This is the second major reshuffle in the state by BJP after it came to power in May.
