West Bengal issues advisory for film industry workers

The West Bengal government issued an advisory mandating timely wages, written contracts, 10-hour shifts, overtime pay, and safe shooting locations for artistes and technicians in film, TV, OTT and web productions. It bans mandatory guild membership for work, prohibits coercive industry bans, and proposes grievance redressal and digital facilitation systems.
