West Bengal launches India's fastest Dheu Electric Ferry

West Bengal has marked a milestone in India’s maritime history with the fastest Dheu Electric Ferry in India. This electric ferry will be the first of its kind and represents a groundbreaking achievement in sustainable water transport. The word Dheu in Bengali means wave. The ferry is 24 metres long and is equipped with a 246 KWh liquid-cooled energy storage solution.
