West Bengal-linked stocks jump up to 10% as BJP takes lead

Shares of companies with a major presence in West Bengal jumped up to 10% on Monday as trends indicated BJP's victory in the state assembly elections. Senco Gold, Emami, CESC, Shriram Properties, Bandhan Bank and Baazar Style Retail were among the gainers. Sensex closed 355.9 points higher at 77,269.40, while Nifty also ended in the green at 24,119.30.
