West Bengal minister launches quantum & semiconductor hub

West Bengal's IT Minister Kalyan Chakraborti launched an Emerging Quantum and Semiconductor Technologies section at CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata. This unit will accelerate deep-tech innovation, establishing the state as a destination for technology investments. The government aims to integrate this wing with the National Quantum Mission, linking research with academia and supporting enterprises.
