West Bengal suspends flights from UK to Kolkata from Jan 3

Amid rising Omicron cases, the West Bengal government on Thursday issued an order saying all direct flights from the UK to Kolkata will be suspended from January 3 until further notice. Those coming from non-at-risk nations will have to undergo a COVID-19 test, at their cost, on arrival. Airlines will test 10% of incoming passengers randomly via the RT-PCR method.
