West Bengal is set to become the 36th state/UT to implement the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) after signing an MoU with the National Health Authority. The scheme will provide eligible families with health insurance coverage of up to ₹5 lakh annually for secondary and tertiary care, ensuring better access to affordable healthcare.
