West Indies record their highest opening partnership in Test cricket history

West Indies have recorded their highest-ever opening partnership in Test cricket. Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Kraigg Brathwaite shared a 336-run opening stand against Zimbabwe in the first Test in Bulawayo to set the record. The previous record was held by Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes, who shared a 298-run stand for opening wicket against England in April 1990.
