West Pakistani refugees vote in J&K Assembly polls for 1st time

West Pakistani refugees in RS Pura danced after voting for first time in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls today. The community has been residing in the region for over seven decades without voting. West Pakistani refugees, predominantly Hindus and Sikhs, were restricted to voting only in general elections earlier. Additionally, Valmikis and Gorkha communities also voted for first time today.
