WestBridge Capital plans to sell 40% stake in Star Health: Report
WestBridge Capital has started a process to sell its stake in Star Health and Allied Insurance, potentially leading to a large secondary transaction, Moneycontrol reported. The private equity firm holds around 40% stake through its investment vehicle. The move comes after WestBridge-backed Kiwi General Insurance began operations, limiting its ability to remain a promoter in two insurers.
