WeWork to close 40 US locations in a bid to reduce costs

Workspace provider WeWork on Thursday said it will exit about 40 locations across the United States in a bid to cut costs. The closures, affecting nearly 41,000 workstations, are expected to contribute roughly $140 million to annual adjusted core earnings, WeWork said. The New York-based firm announced a net loss of $629 million in third quarter.
