WFI bans Vinesh Phogat from competing in comeback tournament, accuses her of multiple breaches

The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has barred Vinesh Phogat from competing in her comeback tournament and domestic events till 26 June. It issued her a show-cause notice, accusing her of indiscipline and anti-doping rule breaches. The WFI said she failed to complete the mandatory six-month notice period for athletes returning from retirement under UWW Anti-Doping Rules.
