What 76% of UPI users say they’ll do if charged MDR above ₹2,000?

A 0.4% UPI Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) will apply from October 15 to specified merchant transactions above ₹2,000. According to a LocalCircles survey, 76% of respondents said they may move large payments away from UPI. Of these, 26% preferred credit cards, while another 26% chose cash. Debit cards accounted for 13%, and 11% preferred bank transfers, NEFT or IMPS.
