Referring to Yashasvi Jaiswal not being included in ODI squad for England tour, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor tweeted, "What a tough time to be a top-order batter in India!" He added, "Jaiswal is experiencing exactly what Sanju Samson ⁩did in 2024-25...being dropped from the very next ODI...after scoring a century. This is a bad as being a world-class spinner in...'60s!"
