'Lawnmower parents' are overprotective parents who cannot stand to see their children struggle. These parents are called lawnmower parents because they mow down a path for their children, removing all obstacles that may cause discomfort and challenges. These parents do a lot of work for their child or at least check to make sure that everything is correct.
