What are 'pilot zones', one of the conditions of renewed Israel-Lebanon truce?

Israel and Lebanon agreed to create 'pilot zones' in southern Lebanon as part of a renewed US-mediated ceasefire. Pilot zones are designated areas "in which the Lebanese Armed Forces will take exclusive control of the territory to the exclusion of all non-state actors". These will help in ensuring a permanent halt to the non-state actor Hezbollah's cross-border firing into Israel.
