What are consequences for person found using e-cigarette in India?
Production, manufacture, import, export, transport, sale, distribution, and advertisement of e-cigarettes is banned in India. Any person violating these provisions is punishable with imprisonment of up to one year, or a fine of up to ₹1 lakh, or both. Storing any stock of e-cigarettes is punishable with imprisonment of up to six months, or a fine of up to ₹50,000.
