Pune-based Nibe announced successful trials of its Vayu Astra-1 loitering munition with a 100-km strike range at Rajasthan's Pokhran and Uttarakhand's Joshimath. The hybrid weapon is based on an Israeli-origin platform adapted for operational requirements. The anti-personnel variant achieved a circular error probable of less than one metre and demonstrated abort-attack and re-attack capability.
