What are govt employees' welfare demands from 8th Pay Commission?

NC-JCM, the apex body of central government employees, has sought expanded leave benefits for employees under 8th Pay Commission. It proposed 240-day maternity leave (unrestricted by child count), 45-day paternity leave, and 60-day parent care leave during the entire service. It also advocated for three days of monthly menstrual leave for women and increasing annual casual leave to 12 days.
