What are Team India players wearing on their backs during matches?

The bulge seen on the backs of several Team India players during matches is a GPS performance-tracking device. Worn inside a pouch in a compression vest between the shoulder blades, it records metrics including distance covered, speed, acceleration, deceleration and workload. The data helps India's support staff monitor fitness, manage training loads and reduce injury risk.
