'Pusa Gehun Gaurav' durum wheat, one of the 109 climate-resilient and bio-fortified varieties of crops dedicated to the nation by PM Narendra Modi, makes rotis softer due to better water absorbency. Pusa Gaurav's high level of yellow pigment and hard grain enables making excellent quality pasta. It also has higher zinc (41.1 ppm), iron (38.5 ppm) and protein content (~12%).
