What are the dos & don'ts in case of a snake bite?

Government has shared dos & don'ts in case of a snake bite. Under dos, government said, "Remove shoes, belt...or tight clothes from affected area. Make the patient lie in prone, on left side, with right leg bent and hand supporting the face." Under don'ts, it said, "Don't allow victim to become over-exerted. Don't tie affected area to stop blood circulation."
