The Vadhavan Port will be developed as an all-weather port in Maharashtra's Palghar at a cost of ₹76,220 crore. The port, linked to national highways and railways, will have 1,000-meter-long nine container terminals, coastal and liquid cargo berths. The project involves reclamation of 1,448-hectare area in sea and the construction of 10.14-km offshore breakwater and container/cargo storage areas.
