What are the key differences between Ebola & COVID-19?
Ebola and COVID-19 are both viral diseases but differ in transmission and symptoms. While Ebola spreads through direct contact with infected body fluids such as blood, vomit, saliva and urine, COVID-19 spreads through respiratory droplets released while coughing or sneezing, an expert said. COVID-19 symptoms include fever, cough, loss of smell, while Ebola causes fever, vomiting and diarrhoea.
