A Vouchercloud survey found average office worker's productivity stands at two hours and 53 minutes a day. An employee spends 44 minutes on social media, one hour on reading news websites, 40 minutes on out-of-work discussions with colleagues and 26 minutes on new job searches, survey found. Instant messaging (14 minutes) and making hot drinks (17 minutes) are other distractions.
