SunRisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings finished as top two teams on the IPL 2018 points table and will play the Qualifier 1. The winner will reach the final while the loser will play the winner of the Eliminator, to be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will qualify for the final.
