The Health Ministry recently said heatstroke should be treated as a medical emergency and shared signs and symptoms of heatstroke. Altered mental sensorium, hot, red and dry skin, high body temperature, severe headache, anxiety, dizziness, fainting, muscle weakness and cramps are some signs in adults. In kids, heatstroke signs include excessive irritability, low urine output, seizures, etc.
