A new COVID-19 variant, BA.3.2, also known as 'Cicada', has spread across the US and 22 other countries, according to health officials. Its symptoms are said to be similar to those of other Omicron subvariants and are generally mild in vaccinated individuals. These usual symptoms include cough, fatigue, runny nose or congestion, headache, sore throat, mild fever and body aches.
