What becomes cheaper & costlier after GST Council meet?

Hostels for students and services provided by Indian Railways are set to become cheaper as the GST Council has exempted them from GST. It also recommended reducing GST on all kinds of carton boxes to 12%, and also prescribed 12% GST on solar cookers and milk cans. The council recommended waiver of interest and penalties on some tax demand notices.
