What can investors do after their SIP completes 5 years, stop or switch it?
If a person has been investing in an SIP in a fund for five years, it doesn't necessarily need to be stopped or switched. Investors should review the fund's performance against its benchmark, risk level and financial goals. Consistent underperformance of fund's goals may justify switching. If the fund performs well and matches investor's objectives, staying invested may make sense.
