What caused the current political crisis in Haryana?

Three independent MLAs, namely Dharampal Gonder, Randhir Golan and Sombir Sangwan, withdrew their support from BJP-led Haryana government in favour of Congress, which has 30 MLAs. This reduced BJP numbers to 43- two less than the majority mark- in the state Assembly. JJP, which has 10 MLAs, has announced support for Congress, indicating a potential toppling of the state government.
